While working as a service dog trainer, I have found that the discrimination surrounding a service dog handler is at best harsh. I have read countless articles by other service dog professionals that would like to affect change in how the general public treats a person with a legitimate service dog. The intention of Access 4 Service Dogs is to provide the general public with the information about service dogs and the ADA standards pertaining to the animals and their handlers. This is not a place where you can obtain a certification, vest or official looking tags because no such documents are required. When the use of a service dog is understood by the public who will come in contact with that animal, it will become harder and harder for the "fake" dogs to interfere with the work of a service animal.  Please subscribe to our website and help us at Access 4 Service Dogs open doors for the people who depend on lifesavers with four paws.
